Open Farm Day 2006

Yesterday was Open Farm Day. A day when farms across the province open their farms to the general public, and show where food comes from.

I spent the day at two farms - Lomands and Hammonds. Besides walking through the fields, buying some fresh produces, and seeing cows and a milk dairy, there was little interactive activities. However, it was a fun day.

Later today I head to Gander for the next three days for meetings and a tour of various Agrifood activities. It looks like I will driving out there in the afternoon...not looking forward to the 4-5 hour drive.

As for the NFL, the Colts won and so did the Bengals. Both are now 3-0! Add the Packers...finally they won...hopefully it’s a start! But tonight’s game should be a great - Saints-Falcons; Reggis Bush-Mike Vick!

Okay, this is my second attempt this morning at posting a blog post here. Let's see if this works.

Basically, I tried uploading/posting a blog post here through my computer baseball game - it did not work. Instead the game crashed and I lost the stats from the game I was trying to post about.
